Bus Buddies

Written and co-Produced by NANCY LUSE.

A community based Production performing at the Evangelical Lutheran Church @ the Schaeffer Center in downtown Frederick.

Bus Buddies is a funny, heartfelt and interesting journey through a cast of characters who take their daily commutes on the same bus route in ‘Anywhere, USA’—filled with connections, confessions and a few delightful surprises along the way.

4 a.m. Friends

Spanning decades from the 1970s to the present day, the play traces Becca, Tammy and Kim on their journey from teenage dreams to the wisdom and complexity of their sixties. Directed by Rikki Howie Lacewell.

Romeo and Juliet: a Riotous Youth Showcase

Riotous Youth of Maryland’s Spring 2026 performance, their first since 2019. This 90-minute Romeo and Juliet is performed entirely by young people, and deepens the impact of Shakespeare’s most adolescent play.

Sherlock Sundays

Sky Stage becomes turn-of-the-century London in this ongoing ESPtheatre performance series. Join us for live readings featuring Sherlock Holmes as he solves a new mystery every month.

The Importance of Being Earnest

Witty repartee, brazen lies and polished hypocrisy collide in Victorian England as four lovers battle against a society driven by status, wealth and (most of all) style. A razor-sharp rom-com directed by Christine Mosere and Kayla Swain.
