11–20 JUNE, NEW SPIRE ARTS

What part of you only wakes when the sun goes down?

Experience Bram Stoker’s gothic thriller Dracula in person on stage.

In the quiet seaside town of Whitby, a mysterious illness takes hold of a young woman as her friends grow to realise the legends of folk superstition have come to stalk them. But when the monster strikes, his enemies become determined to hunt him down at last.

Kayla Swain (The Importance of Being Earnest, ESPtheatre) returns to direct Stoker’s brutal and enduring tale of science, superstition and seduction.

‘Every known superstition in the world is gathered into the horseshoe of the  Carpathians, as if it were the center of some sort of imaginative whirlpool.’
