26 FEBRUARY–7 MARCH, NEW SPIRE ARTS

PRICES: $16.00–$22.00

Cyrano de Bergerac is a sweeping, funny, heartbreaking romance about loving boldly—even when you’re too afraid to say the words yourself.

A man whose boisterous and charismatic personality is matched only by the immensity of his unsightly nose, the eloquent poet/soldier Cyrano fears mockery and rejection should he ever presume to pay addresses to the woman he loves, the beautiful Roxane. He finds an outlet, however, using his gift with words to help his friend woo Roxane instead.

Don’t miss this beautiful classic, written by Edmond Rostand and translated from the French by Gladys Thomas and Mary F. Guillemard, directed by ESP Artistic Director Christine Mosere.

‘Take notice, boobies all, who find my visage’s center ornament a thing to jest at let him taste my steel, and not my boot!
