Sasha Carrera (Storyteller) is thrilled to return to Canterville Chase as the Storyteller (aka Lady Canterville). As a regular member of Endangered Species (theatre) Project, Sasha has performed in many ESP shows including The Awakening, A Civil War Christmas, Midsummer Night's Dream Becky's New Car, Shooting Star and appears regularly as Watson in Sherlock Sundays. Sasha recently completed production on her feature film, Spinsters which she hopes to bring to Frederick sometime next year. In addition, Sasha is a series regular on the award-winning Baltimore series Thespian available streaming online.

Rebecca Carroll (Stripes/Mrs. Umney) is excited to return to ESP’s stage for the Halloween season. She has performed onstage and worked in the tech crews of various theatres in the area including Ardeo Theatre, Unstrung Harpist, Hood College Theatre, and the Maryland Ensemble Theatre. Recent acting credits include Musician/Swing in As You Like It (Frederick Shakespeare Festival), Malvolio in Twelfth Night (Hood College Theatre), and Lucy Westenra in Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy (Hood College Theatre). Rebecca would like to thank the hard-working creative team and crew for all of their dedication to this show.

Dave Gamble, (Storyteller). Dave has appeared with ESP in Indecent and

Sunday Sherlocks. He has performed at Chesapeake Shakespeare, Fells

Point Corner Theatre, Vagabond players, Molotov Theatre, Peter's Alley

and other companies in the DMV.

Ben Hemler (Mr. Otis): Along with playing Mr. Otis in Canterville Ghost, Ben has also appeared in other recent ESP productions  including Diana of Dobson's, Clifford Barnes Potentially Award Winning Blackberry Pie, and  Sherlock Sundays. He is thankful for the support of his wife Meredith, and children Libby and Dominic. Prior to ESP theatre, Ben enjoyed time on stage with 6 Flags America, Oyster Mill Playhouse, and YCP Players.

Ally Jenkins (Mrs. Otis/Lord Canterville) is thrilled to be making her ESP mainstage debut in a show from one of her favorite playwrights. She serves as the Associate Producing Director for Landless Theatre Company and also as a Founding Member/Board Member. Favorite roles include Rose in Gypsy, Betty in The Foreigner, and Princess Puffer in Edwin Drood. Much love to the amazing and talented cast, Kayla and Christine, and to her family and friends for always supporting local theater. Ally will be next seen in Landless' The Lion in Winter as Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Deanna Kinzie (Virginia) is thrilled to be returning to The Canterville Ghost as Virginia. She is the Co-Artistic Director of ESPtheatre and has been involved in virtually every aspect of theater, including lighting, sound, set design, costumes, stage management, writing, directing and acting (many of these roles she took on in this show). As an actor, past shows at ESP include Sherlock Sundays, Calling Dr. Freud, and understudying the fairies and mechanicals in the Shakespeare Festival’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

She would like to thank her fellow cast and crew for being some of the most fun, helpful, and overall amazing people she has worked with, and for making this show an absolute joy to be a part of.

Robert Leembruggen (The Ghost): Robert is delighted to reprise this role with ESTP. Previous shows with ESTP include: Romeo & Juliet (Capulet). Jackson Walker Peters-Mosere (Washington): Jackson is beyond excited to be a part of this production of The Canterville Ghost, almost as excited as Faker must have felt qualifying for Worlds this year. They were recently in another ESTP show, Calling Doctor Freud, as Wolf Women, much like Faker had recently appeared in last year’s Worlds and won making it his 5th worlds win (a feat no one else comes close to). You can find more of their work by watching this year’s Worlds as they will be there cheering for Faker to win his sixth Worlds championship. They would like to thank South Korea for giving Faker a military exemption so he can continue his unimaginable domination in League.

Elle Marie Sullivan (she/her) (Stars/Cecil) is a theatre artist based in DC working primarily as an educator, actor and director. Some theaters she has worked with include Stillpointe Theatre, Smithsonian’s Discovery Theatre, Shakespeare Opera Theatre, Grassroots Shakespeare, Washington National Opera, Unstrung Harpist. Elle studied at the University of Central Florida, Stella Adler Studio of Acting and International Performing Arts Institute. Elle is a company member of Shakespeare in Schools with Educational Theatre Company where is also currently music directing the original musical Every Little Drop at Cardinal Elementary School. Elle is also producing Nu Sass Productions’ Fifth Date currently running in DC. She teaches with Round House and Imagination Stage and is a registered yoga instructor. Kayla Swain (Stage Manager/Understudy for Stars/Cecil) is a 2024 graduate of Hood College, looking to pursue a professional career in the performing arts. This is her 11th production with ESP Theatre. Most recently, she played Ferdinand in the company’s production of The Tempest, and had the honor of stage managing Topdog/Underdog for its Frederick run. She is extremely excited to be working with ESP once again, and would like to thank Christine and Deanna for the opportunity to help in turning this ESP classic into a fully realized production. She hopes you enjoy the show.
