Katie Barnett

Katie Barnett is grateful to join Endangered Species theatre Project for 4 a.m. Friends. A graduate of The Theatre Lab Honors Acting Conservatory, she has performed in theatre and film across the DMV, with recent roles including Edith (Blithe Spirit), Sister Sophia (The Sound of Music), and Leaf Coneybear (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). Frederick audiences may also recognize her as the Cat in the Hat (Seussical) and Zacky Price (Big Fish). Offstage, Katie writes for Maryland Theatre Guide and runs Elevate Writing Studio, where she helps young writers find their voices. She hopes this story resonates with you.
Danielle J. Curry

Danielle J. Curry, affectionately known as Danie, was born and raised in a Haitian household in Brooklyn, NY. Danie, the youngest of five, was exposed to the arts early in life. Recent credits include: It's My Party as Maud (Pipeline Playwrights), For Colored Girls as Lady in Purple, Intimate Apparel as Esther (Compass Rose), The Importance of Being Earnest, Midsummer Night, Find Me A Primitive Man, OK, Media, Anthony & Cleopatra, The Glass Menagerie, Frankie & Johnny (Studio Acting Conservatory), Wednesday’s in Mississippi (Joe’s Movement Café). On stage or behind the camera/scenes, storytelling has always been her passion. With every show she has the love and support of her 3 sons: Dre, David and Daniel. Love you all to no end. Rebecca Husk

Rebecca Husk (she/her) is an Atlanta-born, DC-based performer delighted to be making her ESPtheatre debut with such wonderful new friends. DC Area: The Figs, Human Museum (Rorschach Theatre), Little Shop of Horrors (ARTfactory Actors Theatre), The H Twins (District Fringe); Regional/Chicago: Ride the Cyclone (4 Chairs Theatre), I Promised Myself to Live Faster (Hell in a Handbag Productions), The Creators (Three Brothers Theatre). Rebecca is a proud graduate of The University of Chicago and desperately wants to show you pictures of her cats. Deanna Kinzie

Deanna joined ESPtheatre as part of the Crew in early 2019 supporting A Midsummer Night's Dream. A year and a half later, she was Director of our Teen programs (directing all our teen productions.)
She began Assistant Directing numerous productions in late 2022. In 2023 she not only Co-directed our spring production of The Awakening, she became Associate Artistic Director of the company.
Rikki Howie Lacewell

Rikki Howie Lacewell is a theater inclusive and founder of Confidence Theatrics whose work centers truth-telling, accountability, and the messy, beautiful humanity inside rehearsal rooms. She believes storytelling should feel intimate, urgent, and alive — never decorative. As a director, Rikki builds spaces where actors can bring their full selves to the work while holding the room to a high artistic standard. Collaborating on 4 a.m. Friends with her dear friend and playwright Charlene is both a joy and an honor. Their shared trust fuels a process rooted in honesty and laughter. Rikki is grateful to the Endangered Species theatre Project for the opportunity to bring this powerful work to life.
Marissa Liotta

Marissa Liotta is a DMV-based actor most recently seen as Alice Paul in It’s My Party! with Pipeline Playwrights. Other credits: Silver Spring Stage: Company (Amy); Nu Sass Productions and Pinky Swear Productions: A Bright Room Called Day (Zillah understudy); Frederick Shakespeare Festival: Timon of Athens (Flaminius); Rorschach Theatre: Dracula (Drusilla); and Theater Alliance: Do You Feel Anger? Pamela Northrup

Pamela Northrup makes her Endangered Species theatre Project debut in 4a.m. Friends. Most recently, she was seen as “Dora” in It’s My Party at Pipeline Playwrights. Other past notable roles include Joanne in Company (Silver Spring Stage), Sugar in Tiny Beautiful Things (Colonial Players), Mary in Merrily We Roll Along (Greenbelt Arts Center), and Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret (Silhouette Stages - WATCH nomination). Thank you to Rikki for trusting me so many times over the past twelve years and for always being worth the drive. Love and gratitude to my Q (Kris, Jim, and Laura) for your unending support, and always to Basil, my favorite production.
Kayla Swain

Kayla Swain is a 2024 graduate of Hood College, looking to pursue a professional career in the performing arts. She has been working with the Endangered Species theatre Project since 2021 and has filled a multitude of roles. Most recently, she played Ross in the company’s production of The Scottish Play and stage managed The Canterville Ghost. She is so excited to be working with ESPtheatre again and would like to thank you all for coming out to support. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Sam White

Sam White is a theater artist based in western Maryland. They’ve been pursuing stage management and theatrical design in the area for nearly a decade, but have found a home with the Maryland Ensemble Theatre and are proud to be a company member and ensemble secretary.
